A private driver for a morning or afternoon, roughly six hours, with an air-conditioned car and someone who actually knows the roads. It earns its keep when a scooter won't do: you've got a group, luggage, or you fancy staying dry and dressed up while crossing Canggu at rush hour. String together a few stops like Tanah Lot, a warung lunch and a cliff at Uluwatu, and the driver waits at each one, so you're never stranded looking for a ride back.

How it works

1. 1Tap the service to open a prefilled WhatsApp message, then tell us the date, roughly what time you want to start, and the villa or hotel you're at. If you already have a couple of places in mind, send them over.
2. 2We reply within the hour (8am to 8pm) to confirm the exact price for your route, and line up a driver who knows the part of the island you're heading to. Not sure where to go? We'll suggest a route that fits six hours without rushing.
3. 3On the day, the driver meets you at the villa at the agreed time with the car ready and takes you where you want. You can add or drop stops as you go; it's your day, not a fixed tour.
4. 4At the end you pay the driver directly, and cash is easiest. Petrol and the driver's time are in the price. Parking, temple tickets and your own food are settled on the spot.

Common questions

What counts as a half day, and what if we run over?

Around six hours from pickup to drop-off. If the day stretches and you're having a good time, most drivers are happy to keep going, and you settle the extra hours straight with them. If you already suspect you'll want longer, tell us at the start and we'll price a full day instead.

Is petrol included, or are there extras to expect?

The price covers the car, the driver's time and petrol. What's not included: parking, which runs about 2,000 to 5,000 rupiah a stop, temple and attraction entrance tickets, your own food and drinks, and anything you stop to do like a surf lesson or a market. Those you pay directly as you go, mostly in cash.

Can the driver collect us from the villa?

Yes. Drop us the villa name or a map pin when you message and the driver comes to you at the start time, so you don't have to walk out to a main road. If your place is down a narrow gang the car can't reach, we'll agree a nearby meeting point in advance.

How many people fit in the car?

A standard car takes up to four comfortably with day bags. Travelling as five or six, let us know and we'll put you in a larger car like an Innova, or a Hiace minibus for bigger groups. The price may shift a little for the bigger vehicle, and we'll confirm the number before you commit to anything.

What if our plans change and we need to cancel?

Let us know the evening before and there's no charge. If you cancel on the day after the driver has already set off for you, there may be a small fee to cover the trip out, and we'll always flag it before it applies rather than surprise you.
