You wake up slow at the villa, the pool sits flat and glassy, and a wooden tray drifts on the water loaded with fruit, warm pastries, eggs and a pot of coffee. It makes the photo everyone brings back from Bali, but it's also just a good way to eat without leaving the place. We float it in your pool, you take your time, then we clear it all away. Tell us which morning you want and any dietary needs.

How it works

1. 1Message us on WhatsApp with your villa, the morning you'd like it, and how many people are eating.
2. 2Tell us about any dietary needs too, like vegetarian, no pork, or allergies, so the tray suits everyone at the table.
3. 3We answer between 8am and 8pm, confirm what goes on the tray and the price, and settle on a time with you.
4. 4That morning, our team floats the setup in your pool, and you pay them on the spot, usually cash in rupiah.

Common questions

Is it safe, especially with kids around?

The tray floats level and holds a couple of plates and cups without tipping. It's made for eating from the shallow end or the pool steps, not out in deep water. If little ones are joining, keep an adult in the pool with them. Worst case something slides off, and it's only breakfast. We help you fish it out and tidy up.

What's actually on it?

Usually tropical fruit, bread or pastries, eggs cooked how you like them, plus juice and coffee or tea. The exact spread depends on which kitchen we book for your area, so we send you the menu on WhatsApp before you commit.

Will it work in our pool?

Most private villa pools are fine. We need enough open water for the tray to sit flat, and a spot for you to perch at the edge. Got a small plunge pool? Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth doing.

How much notice do you need?

A day ahead is ideal. The kitchen buys fresh fruit and pastries that morning and needs time to reach your villa. Same-day sometimes works if you ask us early, but we can't always promise it.

Is it just for the photo, or a real breakfast?

Both, really. It photographs well, which is why most people book it, but it's a proper feed for one or two of you. If there are more in your group, let us know and we'll set up something bigger so nobody sits there watching the others eat.
