You land after a long flight and the last thing you want is to go hunting for a shop, hoping it is still open. So we do the shop before you get there. Cold water in the fridge, coffee ready, something for breakfast when you walk in. Send us your list, cold Bintang, fruit, baby formula, oat milk, whatever you need, and we buy it from the supermarkets and local markets between Canggu and Uluwatu.

How it works

1. 1Message us on WhatsApp with your list, your villa address, and your check-in time. A typed list or a photo of one both work fine.
2. 2We work out the shopping fee and send it over for you to okay. Then one of our shoppers heads to a supermarket or market near your villa to do the run.
3. 3Your groceries go into the villa before you arrive, and the cold and frozen things go straight into the fridge and freezer.
4. 4You check everything off against your list and pay the shopper for the groceries plus the fee, usually in cash.

Common questions

Does the shopping fee include the cost of the food?

No, the fee covers the shopping and delivery for one order. The food itself is separate, and you pay whatever it comes to at the till. We hand over the receipt so you can see exactly what went where. A very long list, or a villa that is a fair drive from the nearest supermarket, can nudge the fee up a bit, and we agree that with you before anyone sets off.

Can you get specific things like oat milk, gluten-free bread, or baby formula?

Usually, yes. The shops around Canggu and Seminyak carry a decent range of imported and plant-based products, so oat milk and gluten-free bread turn up without much trouble. Baby formula is the one to check: the shops stock local brands and a handful of international ones, so tell us your exact brand and we'll check the shelf before you fly. If anything is out of stock, the shopper photographs the shelf and you pick a swap, rather than us guessing on your behalf.

Can you buy alcohol?

Beer and local spirits are cheap and easy. Imported wine and spirits carry heavy Bali import tax, so they cost a lot more than you would pay at home, and we flag the price before buying anything expensive. We do not buy alcohol for anyone under 21.

How much notice do you need?

A day ahead is comfortable for a normal shop. Same day often works if you message before mid-afternoon, though a big order right before a public holiday can be tight, since the shops get packed. We are on WhatsApp from 8am to 8pm and usually reply within the hour.

How do you get the groceries into the villa before I arrive?

We sort the drop-off with your villa staff or manager and put the cold and frozen items away straight away. If nobody is on site at your place, we time the delivery to your check-in instead, so nothing perishable sits out in the heat.
