Between beach days and the sticky humidity, a week in Bali gets through more clothes than you'd pack for, and whatever you drape over the villa rack tends to come back smelling faintly of damp. A local laundry takes it by the kilo. They wash it, dry it, fold it and return it to your door, and we pick laundries that tumble-dry where we can, so it comes back properly fresh. It's cheap enough that most guests just hand over the whole bag rather than carry dirty clothes home.

How it works

1. 1Tap laundry on the site and a WhatsApp chat opens ready to go. Tell us the rough size of the bag and flag anything delicate, like swimwear or a wetsuit. If you need it back same-day, say so.
2. 2We reply within the hour, 8am to 8pm. We'll confirm the price per kilo and the turnaround, then line up a laundry we trust near your villa at a pickup time that suits you.
3. 3The driver collects your bag. It usually comes back the next day, washed, dried and folded, with ironing on request. Most of the laundries we use tumble-dry, which is why it smells fresh instead of like the villa rack.
4. 4You pay the driver directly when it arrives, usually in cash, once you've checked the returned pile against what you sent out.

Common questions

How does the pricing work, and is there a minimum?

It's charged by weight per kilo, weighed at the laundry rather than by us, and we confirm the exact rate on WhatsApp before pickup. Most places set a small minimum of around 3 kg, so it's not worth sending a single shirt. A week's washing for two people usually lands around 4 to 6 kg.

How long will it take?

Standard is next-day, often back within 24 hours of pickup. Same-day is possible if the bag goes out early, usually for a bit more per kilo. Tell us the day you need it and we'll say what's realistic, since the fast slots fill up.

Do they collect from and deliver to the villa?

Yes. Pickup and drop-off at your door come with most quotes across the Canggu to Uluwatu stretch. Send the villa name or a map pin and we'll set a collection time over WhatsApp. If you're somewhere tricky to find, a photo of the gate helps the driver.

Can they handle delicates, swimwear or a stain?

Tell us before pickup. Silk, swimwear and anything you don't want tumbled gets washed separately and hung to dry. Rash guards are fine. Wetsuits need a hand wash and air drying, so flag yours and we'll check the laundry can take it. Stains are worth flagging too. They'll pre-treat them, though old or set-in marks don't always lift.

Is ironing included in the price?

The base rate covers wash, dry and fold. Ironing is usually a small extra, charged per item or per kilo depending on the laundry, so just ask and we'll build it into the quote before you commit.
